2 killed as bus overturns

Two passengers were killed and 19 other injured while a bus in which they were travelling overturned at Panchabhuti under Jagannathprasad police station in Ganjam district today

Berhmapur: Two passengers were killed and 19 other injured while a bus in which they were travelling overturned at Panchabhuti under Jagannathprasad police station in Ganjam district today.

The incident occurred when the passenger-laden vehicle, which was heading towards Bhanjanagar from Odagaon, lost control near Panchabhuti village and skidded off the road. The bus later overturned killing one on the spot and another at the hospital.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the nearest hospital. Police seized the vehicle and registered a case.
