Ganja Worth Rs 30 Lakh Seized In Malkangiri, 3 Arrested

Chitrakonda police seized 302 kg ganja and arrested three persons from Rajabandha village in Malkangiri district late on Saturday night. According to sources, a police team received a tip-off regarding smuggling of the contraband last night and reached Rajabandha village. While three persons escaped from the place, the police team nabbed three others. Apart from 302 kg ganja, two cars and three motorcycles were also seized from the possession of the accused persons. The approximate value of the seized ganja is Rs 30 lakh, said Chitrakonda SDPO Anshuman Dwivedi. He said the three arrested accused have been forwarded to court.
