Azamgarh (UP): A 23-year-old youth was shot dead while his brother was seriously injured by unidentified attackers in a village in Sidhari area, police said today.

Some unidentified attackers fired bullets at Rohit Singh and his 25-year-old brother Phool Singh in Hengapur village on Tuesday.

Rohit died on the spot while his brother was admitted to a hospital in critical condition. Investigations are on to arrest the attackers, police said.
