When Sarah Palin met Sarah Palin

"Now you go talk to all these reporters. And you speak for me," the `Daily Mail` online quoted the 47-year-old former Alaskan governor as telling Thompson from New England, who was waiting for Palin in the pews when she arrived in the city on her One Nation bus tour.

Dressed in Palin`s signature red jacket and huge flag lapel pin, Thompson made the Tea Party darling look distinctly casual as the two embraced outside the church.

It`s not the first time the pair have met. They encountered one another for the first time in 2009, at a book signing in Colorado.

According to Thompson`s website, Palin said: "Oh my gosh, I feel like I`m looking in the mirror!".

Thompson, who advertises her services for fundraisers, church parties and cruises, describes herself as having "an uncanny natural resemblance to Sarah Palin".
