The Google Play Store is a large app store specifically designed for Android users.

It is known to be one of the most trusted app stores for Android devices

However, recently, Google has been gradually dropping support for older versions of Android that have fewer users.

Starting from August, Google has decided to stop supporting Android 4.4 KitKat, which was released back in 2013.

This means that devices running on KitKat will no longer receive updates related to the Google Play Store, and they will be stuck with Play Services version 23.30.99.

As a result of this change, any future services, updates, and improvements that Google introduces will no longer work on Android KitKat devices.

In other words, the devices using KitKat will no longer have access to the latest features and security enhancements available in newer versions of Android.

The reason behind dropping support for older versions is that Google wants to focus on improving the Play Store for newer versions of Android, which are more widely used by people.

This decision ensures that the majority of users can benefit from the latest features and enhancements, while older and less-used versions are gradually phased out from the market.
