Agra: Taj Mahotsava, the annual art, craft and cuisine extravaganza, drew to a close with a gala performance by noted playback singer Alka Yagnik.

The 11-day event that ended on Tuesday night showcased the work of 300 artisans among other things at Shilpagram near the Taj Mahal. The Taj Challenge Car Rally, which was considered a major attraction, covered a distance of 200 kms across different towns here.

The Mahotsava had been postponed by nearly a month from its original dates of February 18 to 27 due to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
