After Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel’s brilliant performance in the fourth Test against England, legendry batsman Sunil Gavaskar had termed the youngster as the next MS Dhoni in making. However, former India captain Sourav Ganguly has rejected the comparison by the Little Master.

Ganguly hailed Jurel, but urged everyone to let him play and refrain from making any comparisons.

“Jurel is no MS Dhoni and let him play. I was impressed with how he has conducted himself in two Tests. Jurel has shown talent in the games against England. I like his ability to play spinners and fast bowlers and most importantly to perform under pressure,” said Ganguly during a recent interaction.

Notably, Jurel impressed one and all with his glove work and batting in the fourth Test against England. He has taken sensational catches and played match-winning innings in the two Test matches so far.
