Young opening batsman Shubman Gill has been stealing the show after his recent blistering century in the third T20I between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The promising batsman, who had scored his maiden double-century in the ODI series, slammed an unbeaten 126 off just 63 balls. While, Gill toyed with the Kiwis bowlers, a Tinder proposal from a female fan which read, “Tinder, Shubman se match karado” has now gone viral.

The placard of the female fan became a meme material and went so viral that Shubman Gill finally joined Tinder. Taking to his Instagram handle, Gill responded to the fan’s viral request and shared a teasing video of his Tinder profile.

He wrote, “Dekh toh liya, ab tum dekho theek se,” in the caption. After being shared online, his post has garnered over 6L likes and thousands of comments.

However, a few fans tried to troll her and said Sara would block him if he joined Tinder.

“Sara gonna block you bro,” commented a user while another user wrote, “Sara ka Sara mood kharab kardiya apne.”

A third user wrote, “Bhai cricket se focus na hataa!”

“Bhai sara ka sara aap leloge to aam janta ke liye kya bachege,” wrote another user.

A fifth user wrote, “Happiness of that viral girl now.”

Earlier, senior Indian pacer Umesh Yadav had lightheartedly poked fun at Shubman Gill and tweeted several hoardings of Nagpur that featured the girl holding the placard.

On the professional front, both Umesh and Shubman Gill are part of the Indian Test squad that will take on Australia in the first Test of a four-match series in Nagpur starting from February 9.
