In what could be a bad news to the fans of Mumbai Indians, veteran batsman and former captain Rohit Sharma is all set to enter the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction pool ahead of the eighteenth season of the mega tournament.

As per reports published in some sections of media, Rohit is apparently unhappy with the decisions of newly appointed captain and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

Rohit had led MI to five IPL titles and he was expecting the management to treat him respectfully. However, it didn’t happen. To his utter dismay and shock, MI replaced Rohit with Pandya as its new captain for IPL 2024.

Moreover, as per the reports, some other big players are also likely to register their names for the mega auction as they are expecting lucrative offers by some other franchises.

Some of the main players of MI have earlier expressed their dissatisfactions through cryptic posts on social media following the appointment of Pandya as the captain of the team ahead of IPL 2024.

Notably, MI are currently going through a tough phase and having disastrous results due to internal conflict between the players in the ongoing IPL.

Fans and experts have also put question mark on Pandya’s leadership skills as he has let the team down with some questionable calls during crucial times.
