Rishabh Pant likely to replace MS Dhoni as CSK Captain

This year’s IPL is grabbing a lot of attention as fans will get to witness former India skipper and everyone’s favorite MS Dhoni in action. Captain Cool is all set to lead the ‘Yellow Army’ for another IPL clash.

The 42-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman who has successfully led Chennai Super Kings to five IPL titles has already confirmed his participation in this year’s IPL. However, reports suggest that this IPL season might be the last for Mahi.

He is likely to bid farewell after this year’s IPL. Meanwhile, reports suggest that CSK is already looking for a replacement for MS Dhoni. If reports are to be believed, the Chennai-based franchise has opted for Rishabh Pant and thinks he is the right candidate.

Former Delhi Capitals star Pant has made a comeback to IPL this year after his tragic road accident in December last year. Both Dhoni and Pant share a very close bond and spend a lot of time together. Pant also adores MS and likes him very much. Their connection and Rishabh’s thinking with MS are very similar, considering he is very attacking and positive. He also always talks about winning like Dhoni.

However, there has been no official confirmation of Dhoni’s replacement as of yet.
