Reason behind Virat Kohli missing Test series against England revealed!

Fans are baffled why Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is not playing in the ongoing Test series against England. Kohli had requested BCCI to rule him out of the first two Tests due to personal reasons. 

However, it is not yet certain why Kohli is not playing the Test series against the visitors. Moreover, it is not yet certain whether Kohli will play the next three matches against England or not.

Though BCCI has requested the fans to respect the privacy of Kohli, fans are speculating many things about Kohli’s absence from the all-important Test series. Romours were doing the round that Virat’s absence is due to his mother’s illness.

However, Virat’s brother took to social media to quash all the rumours. He slammed people spreading fake news and claimed that their mother was very fit and doing well.

Meanwhile, in another development, Kohli’s former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate AB de Villiers has made a revelation behind Kohli’s absence in the series against England.

According to De Villiers, “Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their 2nd child, so Virat is spending time with his family.”

Reacting over fans’ reactions over Kohli’s absence, former England captain Kevin Pietersen had said when a player of Kohli’s stature requests for leave due to personal reasons, there should not be any discussions whatsoever on it.
