As the first team, India sealed their spot in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 after beating Sri Lanka by a whopping margin of 302-runs at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday.

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored a brisk 35 runs from just 24 balls and captured the last wicket to seal the fate of the match.

However, during the last over of India’s innings, skipper Rohit Sharma expressed was angry on Jadeja. Rohit even expressed his disappointment over a decision of the all-rounder during a contentious moment of the match.

During the last over of India’s innings, Rohit came to the balcony and signalled to Jadeja to play out all six balls. However, Jadeja chose to take a single on the second ball of the over, ignoring Rohit’s advice. The captain’s frustration was palpable following the development. Rohit expressed his anger at Jadeja by making some gestures.
