Captain Cool MS Dhoni was at his explosive best as he slammed a massive six in the final over during the Chennai Super King’s (CSK) match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). The veteran cricketer came out to bat amid huge cheering and shouts by his fan.

With just 2 overs to go, MS Dhoni made his entry and perfectly timed a full-toss from Arshdeep Singh and heaved it for a mammoth six in the final over. This was his 66th six in the final over of an IPL innings, a record that belongs to him in scoring highest number of sixes in the final over.

In all the IPL innings, MS Dhoni has hit the most number of sixes in the final over. He has hit at least 66 sixes in the final over and remains at the top of the six table followed by Kieron Pollard who is way below him with 33 sixes.

Similarly, Ravindra Jadeja has 29 sixes followed by 28 sixes by Hardik Pandya and 23 sixes by Rohit Sharma. Unfortunately, MS Dhoni who had remained NOT OUT in all the seven matches in this IPL season, got run out in yesterday’s match.

CSK faced a humiliating seven-wicket defeat at their own den against PBKS on Wednesday. The win took PBKS to seventh place on the points table with eight points while CSK stayed on fourth with 10 points.
