IPL 2023: Sachin Tendulkar terms MI’s Eliminator win over LSG as best ‘anniversary gift’ - watch

Legendry batsman and Mumbai Indians (MI) mentor Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 28th marriage anniversary on Wednesday. Master Blaster’s joy was doubled following MI’s victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 81 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Eliminator encounter.

MI have uploaded a video about Sachin’s celebration of his marriage anniversary along with MI players on its social media handle. In the video, it is found that co-owner of the team - Nita Ambani is asking Tendulkar to say few words on MI’s victory. In reply, the former India captain termed it as the ‘the best gift’ that he could get on his anniversary.

The video has reportedly gone viral. Around 4,000 fans have liked the video so far. Several fans also flooded the comment box with amusing comments.

Responding to Sachin’s inspiring words, a fan wrote, “That’s exactly my thought after the win. That Rohit splendid effort to stop certain boundary & and continuous dot ball from Madhwal forced him to play that shot and then after that it was all fallen like pack of cards.”

“Same thought by me master. My heart is in sync with you, yesterday I was in ground that was first time in life was so close to you and screaming Sachin Sachin... A life long moment for me,” tweeted another fan.

In reaction to Sachin’s statement, a third user commented, “Legends have different understanding of game. That thought never crossed to anyone else.”
