Rajendra Prasad Mohapatra

Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Riyan Parag is a clean striker of the ball and he has shown his ability quite a few times in the IPL. He has also the potential to finish off the innings with his explosive batting. He has reiterated at times his intentions to do the same for the Indian team as well.

RR always relied on him to play some explosive cameos lower down the order, but all in vain. He was given another lifeline against Gujarat Titans on Friday. RR used him as an Impact Player. Amid a batting debacle, the team wanted him the most to resurrect the innings. However, Parag failed miserably again as he managed only four runs off six balls.

Fans were severe and showed no mercy to the youngster after his repeated failures. Parag was brutally trolled over various social media platforms.

Reacting to Parag’s repeated failures, a fan tweeted, “Riyan Parag the biggest fraud cricket ever produced #RRvsGT.”

“This man is storybook all by himself, there's no work of fiction more fanciful, whose grasp of the improbable is utterly unique....what a freak he is man....what an absolute performer, Riyan Parag you beuty,” wrote another fan.

Notably, RR was bundled out for a dismal 118 in 17.5 overs in their match against Gugarat Titans (GT) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. In reply, GT knocked off the target in just 13.5 overs for the loss of only one wicket.
