In a good news for the fans of Rishabh Pant, the flamboyant India wicket-keeper batsman has hit the gym for the first time after his horrific car accident.

Recently, Pant posted a story on his Instagram account indicating that he went to the gym. In the picture, the star cricketer has pointed to the quotation on a gym wall that reads, “Sports do not build character, they reveal it”.

The explosive wicket-keeper batsman has recently been quite active on Instagram. He keeps updating his fans via posts and stories.

The former Delhi Capitals captain is gradually recovering from the multiple injuries which he sustained in the horrific accident. He was also recently spotted in the stadium supporting his team during a couple of Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.

The explosive wicket-keeper batsman was an important member of the Indian cricket team. He will certainly miss the upcoming big events like World Test Championship, Asia Cup and ODI Cricket World Cup scheduled later this year. Pant’s absence has raised concerns for the selector to pick his suitable replacement.

In the absence of Pant, players like Sanju Samson, Jitesh Sharma, KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan are in the reckoning for selection in the Indian team.
