Struggling Delhi Capitals (DC) have finally found their lost equipment on Friday. Skipper David Warner confirmed the development via Instagram. However, it is yet to be ascertained from where the equipment was recovered.

“They found the culprits. Few missing but still thank you,” Warner wrote on his Instagram story.

Notably, the team had lost multiple bats and kit equipment after their trip from Bengaluru and before the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clash at Eden Gardens. The incident came to light after a few players complained about the missing equipment.

In another development, DC have included former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsman Priyam Garg in their squad amid the ongoing session of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday.

However, the franchise is yet to clarify on whose place Garg will be drafted into the squad.

Following five consecutive losses, DC had summoned the uncapped duo of Abhimanyu Easwaran and Garg for trials a couple of days back.

Notably, Easwaran had gone unsold in the past few seasons. Garg also had no takers in the last IPL auction after SRH released him.

Meanwhile, DC scripted their first victory of IPL 2023 by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets on Thursday.
