England’s vastly improved opener Ben Duckett admitted that veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will be the toughest challenge for the visiting side when they will meet against each other in the upcoming T20 series.

Duckett is well aware of the challenges India’s spin attack led by Ashwin may throw at him. As per Duckett, World’’s No.1 bowler Ashwin is the best off-spinner he has faced in his life and he will most certainly get him out a few times in the series.

“I wasn’t the last left-hander to struggle out there in those conditions against Ashwin. He is so good everywhere. He is the best off-spinner I have come across,” said Duckett.

“I am sure he is going to get me out again, he is a world-class bowler. But I would back myself now on a good pitch or a flatter pitch to not feel like I have to play aggressive shots or sweep every ball,” he further said.

“If those pitches are spinning, and with the way this team has played over the last 18 months, I know what my strengths are and I am certainly not going to die wondering,” he added.
