India will take on Australia in the second game of the five-match T20I series at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.

Though India made a winning start after beating the visitors in the first match of the series at Visakhapatnam, the team management might consider making a few changes in the playing XI, considering the individual performances.

The management could consider bringing in Washington Sundar in place of Axar Patel who had a very poor outing both with the ball and the bat in the first match.

The middle order is most likely to remain the same with a small tweak. With poor performance in bowling in the previous encounter, India might be tempted to add an additional all-rounder, who can give them an extra option in the bowling attack. So if this is the case, Shivam Dube could be included in the playing XI in place of Tilak Varma.

In the bowling department, though spinner Ravi Bishnoi and pacer Prasidh Krishna leaked runs, they may be retained in the team for the second match as well.

Team India’s probable XI

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar.
