Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will lock horns against each other in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday.

Ahead of the high-voltage clash, former Pakistan great Rashid Latif has advised the current skipper Babar Azam  to learn from star India batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to carry pressure in big games.

According to Latif, Babar would be under more pressure about the game against India rather than his own performance during the mega event.

"The focus is on the game against India on June 9 . Babar will be under a lot of pressure because of the game against India rather than performing in the World Cup. He might be one of the best batters in the world but he needs to learn a lot as a captain and a leader," said Latif.

"Babar has to learn to carry pressure, he should learn that from Virat and Rohit. They know how to carry the game. As a batter, Babar is one of the best but as a captain and leader, there's a lot that he needs to learn," he added.

Moreover, the former Pakistan wicketkeeper also hailed India’s left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav ahead of the game calling him a ‘key bowler’.
