Several netizens slammed legendary Pakistan batter and former captain Javed Miandad for his controversial statement on India.

Miandad had earlier slammed the Indian cricket team by saying it ‘to go to hell’ for refusing to tour Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup.

“I have always been saying, if India doesn’t want to come, we don’t care. They can go to hell. We are getting our cricket. It’s ICC’s job to control such things, else there’s no point of having a governing body. ICC should have one rule for every country. If such teams don’t come, no matter how strong they are, you should remove them,” Miandad said during a television interview.

Responding to Miandad’s statement, former India bowler Venkatesh Prasad took a dig at him by referring to Pakistan as ‘hell’.

Prasad gave an epic one-word reply by tweeting, “But they are refusing to go to hell.”

The tweet has gone viral over social media platforms.

Responding to Prasad’s tweet, several netizens slammed Pakistan and Miandad over the controversial remark.

“PAK : Jindagi Jandwa ,Phir bhi Ghamandwa !” wrote a denizen.

“2-3 mahine jaane do, Javed Miandad 1 kilo aata ke liye Dawood ka address bhi de dega India ko,” wrote another user.

“Ye terrorist dawood ka rishtedar hai na javed miandad..khud bhi terrorist ki boli bol raha hai,” replied a third user.
