After beating Sri Lanka convincingly on Tuesday, India have become the first team to enter the final of the Asia Cup 2023 to be played on Sunday.

The Men in Blue will warm up for the final in its final Super 4 game against an already eliminated Bangladesh on Friday.

Pakistan or Sri Lanka can seal the remaining second spot for the final match. Sri Lanka will meet Pakistan in its final Super 4 match of the Asia Cup on Thursday. The reigning champions are expected to make the most of their home advantage against Pakistan at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The winner of the virtual semi-final will lock horns with India in the summit clash.

In case the Super Four game between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is washed out, the team which has the better net run rate will join India in the final match.

As far as the run rate is concerned, Sri Lanka have an edge over Pakistan. Pakistan are having a below par run rate due to the dismal show against arch-rival India in their Super Four game.

Currently, the Men in Blue are leading the points table in the Super 4 stage with four points from two games. India are followed by Sri Lanka, who are level on points with Pakistan. Both the teams have two points each.
