Ashwin, Jadeja recreate ‘Ek Tera, Ek Mera’ scene after winning Player of the Series award- Watch

Hosts India won the recently-concluded Border-Gavaskar Series 2-1 against Australia. While India won the first two Tests, Australia went on to win the third one. The fourth and the final match ended in a draw. Indian spin duo of Indian R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were awarded the Player of the Series for their brilliant bowling in the series.

Both Ashwin and Jadeja celebrated their feat in a unique way. Both the spinners recreated a scene from the Bollywood movie ‘Deewane Huye Pagal’ after the award was jointly presented to them. They recreated the scene in the Indian dressing room with all-rounder Jadeja taking on the role of Akshay Kumar.

The video has reportedly gone viral on various social media platforms. So far it has garnered around 13 lakh likes and several comments. Even Ashwin’s Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals has shared it.

Explosive all-rounder Hardik Pandya and batter Surya Kumar Yadav expressed their amusement by dropping laughing emoticons in the comments section. The video also caught the attention of former India coach Ravi Shastri. He went on to describe the duo as a ‘deadly combo.’
