India's promising pacer Arshdeep Singh produced a phenomenal performance in the match against USA at the T20 World Cup on Wednesday. He registered a brilliant figures of 4/9 in his four overs as the Men in Blue restricted the co-hosts to 110/8.

In the process, Arshdeep made a new Indian record. He registered the best figures by an Indian bowler in T20 World Cup's history. Ravichandran Ashwin held the earlier record when he secured four wickets, conceding 11 runs during the 2014 T20 World Cup match against Australia in Mirpur.

After winning the toss, the USA chose to bat first. However, they quickly found themselves in trouble as Arshdeep  delivered a series of deadly balls. Masterfully utilizing the pitch conditions, he demonstrated exceptional control and precision, making it difficult for the American batsmen to score runs easily.
