Prince Charles blasts climate-change skeptics

The British prince says climate skeptics are having a "corrosive effect" on public opinion by insinuating that environmental scientists around the world are secretly conspiring to destroy capitalism.

Speaking before the European Parliament today, Charles asked: "How are these people going to face their grandchildren and admit to them that they failed their future?"

Charles, along with top European Union officials, was addressing a conference devoted to getting more European businesses engaged in promoting low-carbon economy.
