Kendrapara: Police today arrested two persons including a brother of the arrested gangster Tito on charge of May 12 disturbances in the district collectorate here.
Farkhan Ali Khan (40), brother of gangster Tito and Pitambar Rout (42) was taken into custody for taking a lead part in acts of disturbances at the Collectorate, police sources said.
They were later forwarded to court after the local court rejected their bail applications, said Ramesh Chandra Sethy, Inspector, Kendrapara police station.
Arrest of gangster Tito-alias- Syed Usman Ali on May 12 had provoked commotion with over a thousand of his supporters barging into the collectorate building.
Earlier the gangster, who had floated a trade union luring youths in the name of giving employment to them in Paradip-based industrial units, was arrested on charge of fixing tenders worth Rs 5 crore in government civil construction projects.
