As many as two persons were injured as a miscreant hurled bombs at a bike repair shop near Baliguali area along Puri-Konark road on Friday night.

The accused identified as Kanha Das was arrested by Puri Marine police. A bike was seized from Kanha’s possession.

As per reports, Kanha’s uncle had earlier repaired his bike at the shop. However, he had not given his payment to the garage owner. When Kanha came to the shop to repair his bike on Friday, the owner asked him to pay his uncle’s money. Kanha didn’t pay the amount and went away. Later in the night, he allegedly hurled two bombs at the shop.

The video of the incident has been captured by the CCTV camera installed nearby the place. 

The injured persons were rushed to the nearby medical immediately. Their health condition is reportedly stable.

Upon being informed, Puri Marine police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the incident. Accused Kanha has been arrested and further investigation into the incident is currently underway, informed police.
