"I don`t see the impasse to be over without the government accepting our demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the matter," BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told reporters here.
He said BJP and a united opposition, which had raised the demand for a JPC probe during the Winter session of Parliament, "will continue to do that. We want action."
The month-long Winter session was a complete washout as a determined NDA and other Opposition parties said nothing less than a JPC probe into the scam will do and the government stood firmly against it.
Javadekar charged Congress with having entered into an agreement with its ally DMK on the spectrum issue and expressed fears that former Union Telecom Minister A Raja could go scot free.
"This is a farcical enquiry (by CBI against Raja.) Raja and others will be protected and that is why Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal attacked the Comptroller and Auditor General," he alleged.
Javadekar said Sibal cannot now continue as Minister, especially after the Supreme Court, which is looking into the spectrum case, rapped him for his comments against CAG.
He charged the Centre with showing no intent in recovering black money stashed in foreign havens, which he described as "loot" and said the Congress-led UPA was trying to shield the culprits.
He said BJP`s movement against corruption and price rise, aimed against the Centre, had gathered momentum and compared it with the anti-Bofors movement and the one led by Jaiprakash Narayan in the 1970s.
Javadekar said people wanted those found guilty in CWG and Adarsh Housing scams to be punished.
On BJPs plans to hoist the tricolour at Srinagar on January 26, which has been opposed by J and K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Javadekar wondered why there was objection to unfurling the national flag in an Indian state.
"We don`t know what stops him from supporting us," he said and charged a "few separatists" with crushing people`s desire to hoist the tricolour.
