Amid the so-called farmers protest, an alleged farmer has openly threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that the PM will not be spared if he visits Punjab.

The alleged farmer, who was part of the protest, said the PM will face dire consequences if he visits Punjab again.

"Modi escaped from Punjab last time; but if he comes to Punjab again, he will not be saved," said the farmer.

 

 

Meanwhile, huge security build-up continued on inter-state borders between Punjab and Haryana on the second day on Wednesday, as assembled protesting farmers are adamant on heading to the national capital to lodge their protest over unfulfilled demands, including legal guarantee of minimum support prices (MSP) of crops, IANS reported.

As per reports, police used tear gas on demonstrators in a bid to stop the protestors from reaching the national capital. Several policemen have sustained injuries in stone pelting by the so-called farmers.

Out of the several demands, the violent protestors demand waiver of farm loans and dropping of criminal cases against those protesting farm laws.
