Aarti Hamal, daughter of Nepal Mayor goes missing in Goa; here's update

Aarti Hamal, the daughter of a mayor in Nepal, has reportedly gone missing in Goa. She has been missing since March 25, reports said.

The 36-year-old was last spotted near Ashvem Bridge in Pernemat around 9:30 PM. Goa police have registered a missing person’s complaint and have formed a search team to locate Aarti, who is the daughter of Nepal’s Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan city Mayor.

According to sources, Aarti is an Osho meditator and had come to Goa a few months ago. A frantic search has begun after the Osho meditation centre employees said she could not be contacted.

In a social media post, her father said, “My elder daughter, Aarti is an Osho meditator who has been living in Goa for a few months now. However, I have received a message from her friend stating that she has lost contact with Aarti. I humbly request that those who live in Goa assist in the search of my daughter.”

Sharing contact numbers, he posted, “I sincerely request that you contact 9794096014/8273538132/9389607953 to provide the necessary assistance in the search of my daughter.”

Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Aarti was located by Mandrem police. She was found in a hotel nearby.
