Rourkela: Two miscreants on Thursday looted cash of Rs 5 lakhs from two employees of Bonai Cooperative Bank at Bonai, about 80 km from here, police said.

The criminals had fixed nails on the tyres of the bike of the employees. As the employees, after withdrawing the amount, took the bike, it broke down after a distance.

The two approached for help and in the process snatched away the cash from them and fled in a motorcycle.

After a search, police located the bike used by the criminals inside the forest.
