Cuttack: Two unidentified miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 2.39 lakh from two employees of a private financial company near their office at Palla Mandap here, police sources said on Saturday.

Two employees of Bandhan Financial Company employees Buddhadev Ghosh and Ranjan Das were cycling back to their office after withdrawing the cash from a local private bank when two persons coming in a motorcycle intercepted them and snatched away the cash-bag. The incident took place around noon on a busy Link Road near a crowded market place on Saturday,  the sources said. "We are yet to ascertain the identity of the looters," said Badambadi police inspector Debendra Mallick.
