Bhubaneswar: A man was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants near CRPF square here on Tuesday evening.
The deceased identified as Kamal Sarkar was a resident of OMC colony in Unit- VIII here.
Though the reason of the gruesome murder is yet to be ascertained, police suspect past animosity could be the reason behind the killing.
Meanwhile, police have sent the body for post-mortem and began investigating into the case.
Earlier in the day, another shocking murder took place here at Baragarh area. A woman hacked her younger sister by slitting her throat. The deceased has been identified as Amita Biswal (20). Amita was staying at her sister’s place since last five months. The brother-in-law of Amita is a fruit vendor at Unit-IV.
