Bhopal: Congress General Secretary, Digvijay Singh on Sunday said that he did not share any special relationship with Rahul Gandhi.

"The only relationship I have with Rahul is that he is a Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh, a state of which I am in-charge as party`s General Secretary," Singh told PTI.

Asked if he foresaw Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister, Singh said it was his ardent wish to see the young Congress leader occupy the top post.

When reminded that Rahul had not said so far that he wanted to be the Prime Minister, Singh said that the young Congress leader had also not said that he did not want to be, one day.

The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister also denied that he had had any dispute with Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.

"I never had any fight with Chidambaram, I do not have any fight with him and in the future also, there will be no fight between the two of us."

Without mentioning the former telecom minister A Raja, he also praised the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for having the "courage" to send a minister who had worked with him to jail.
