Ambala: Indian National Lok Dal chief and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala today said the state is passing through a serious financial crises and held the state government responsible for it. "Haryana`s economy is in bad shape. During the last seven years, the state government had taken Rs 37,000 crore loan from the Centre," he said, demanding that the Congress government should release a white paper on this issue.

Criticising the B S Hooda government, he said rates of power hiked in the state recently should be rolled back. He said INLD would launch a statewide agitation if the power hike was not rolled back. Referring to Lokpal Bill, he said his party was always in favour of it and he was of the view that a strong Lokpal bill at the Centre should be passed to curb the prevailing corruption in different spheres.
