The stunning Triptii Dimri has become a sensation ever since the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'. Her portrayal of Zoya has made her a star overnight with fans gushing over her natural beauty, simplicity and acting prowess.
Even though the actress has been part of several critically acclaimed movies like 'Qala', 'Bulbbul', Laila Majnu and Poster Boys, it is Ranbir Kapoor's Animal that has given her the much-needed break. Triptii has literally taken away the thunder from Rashmika who was the leading lady in the film. Fans are lovingly calling her 'bhabhi 2' and would love to see her in more movies. If reports are to be believed, Triptii has now bagged the much-anticipated 'Aashiqui 3' opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Directed by Anurag Basu and helmed by Bhushan Kumar, Aashiqui 3 is one of the most awaited movies. It has been over 10 years since Aashiqui 2 was released and fans are eagerly waiting for the third franchise.
While Kartik Aaryan was finalised to play the lead, the search for the leading lady was on since a long time. There were reports of Sara Ali Khan joining her ex-boyfriend Kartik in the film. Later, reports also suggested that Tara Sutaria had bagged the role of the leading lady.
However, putting an end to all the speculations, finally Triptii has been locked in. The film is expected to go on the floors in the first quarter of 2024. This is the first time Kartik Aaryan will romance Triptii and it would be a treat for their fans.
After winning hearts in Animal, Triptii is expected to treat her fans with another blockbuster with Aashiqui 3. Apart from Aashiqui 3, she also has 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam' opposite Vicky Kaushal and another film opposite Rajkummar Rao.
On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan is currently shooting for Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion' and will also be seen in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.
