In a tragic incident, at least five relatives of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput have been reportedly killed in a road accident in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. According to a local media report, the road mishap took place in Pipra village of the district at around 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday. 

Six persons, including the five distant relatives of the late Bollywood actor, were killed when their SUV collided with a truck in Bihar's Lakhisarai district on November 16, police said.

As per the local media reports, the incident occurred after an SUV collided with a truck leaving 4 people critically injured and 6 people dead.

Various local media have reported that Laljeet Singh, a relative of Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law OP Singh, was also killed in the accident. Laljeet was reportedly returning home in his vehicle after performing the last rites of his wife, Geeta Devi who is OP Singh’s sister.

Among others who were killed in the accident are Nemani Singh, Ramchandra Singh, Baby Devi, Anita Devi, and Pritam Kumar.

Two of the injured have been identified as Valmiki Singh and Prasad Kumar, said Halsi Circle Officer Vivek Kumar. The injured were initially admitted to the Sikandara Sub-Divisional hospital and later referred to the Patna Medical College Hospital.

"As the SUV is badly mangled due to intense impact, we are using iron cutters to pull out bodies from it. The injured have already been taken to Sadar hospital where their condition is stated to be critical," IANS quoted Vivek Kumar as saying.
