Everyone’s favourite ‘Khalnayak’ and 90s star Sanjay Dutt got a bit emotional on the occasion of Father’s Day. The handsome hunk missed his father and penned a sweet note with a special message for his late father Sunil Dutt.
Sharing a vintage picture of himself along with his father, Sanjay wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, Dad! You mean everything to me. Miss you dearly. Love you always!”
The actor, who also lost his mother and legendary actress Nargis Dutt to cancer at an early age, was very close to both his parents. His mother had a deep impact on his life and passed away just days before his big Bollywood debut.
After the death of his mother, it was his father and actor Sunil Dutt who stood by Sanju when he was arrested for his alleged link with the underworld dons.
The father-son shared a special bond and Sanju considered him his strength, inspiration, and support.
Sunil Dutt, who joined the Congress, stood by Sanju through thick and thin. They both appeared together in the film ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ which went on to become a blockbuster. That was the last film they did together.
Besides Sanjay, Sunil Dutt also has a daughter named Namrata Dutt. On the work front, Sanjay will be next seen in the romantic comedy film ‘Ghudchadi’ also starring 90s queen Raveena Tandon.
Meanwhile, actor Arbaaz Khan also shared a bunch of throwback pictures with his father Salim Khan and wished him on Father’s Day. The pictures also feature his brother Salman Khan, mother Salma Khan, and lyricist Javed Akhtar.
