Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi Chakraborty recently recalled an incident when superstar Salman Khan asked him to ‘fuck off’ for touching his feet in the presence of the stunning Disha Patani. The ‘Bollywood Bhaijaan’ even threatened to throw him off the set.
Speaking to Lehren Retro, Namashi recalled, “Salman bhai was shooting for Radhe. I had just wrapped ‘Bad Boy’ and I went to meet him at Mehboob. I went and touched his feet, and I can say this on camera, he said ‘Fuck off’.”
“He gave me a hug and said, ‘I am as old as you are, don’t do this ‘bullshit’ with me. If you ever do this again, especially if Disha Patani is sitting here, I’m going to throw you off the set’,” Namashi added.
He further went on to add, “So, rule number one, don’t touch Salman Khan’s feet.”
Namashi also recounted how his father Mithun Chakraborty’s goodwill has helped him in his career. He said that Salman Khan is his father’s good friend and always cares for him. Even Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Shah Rukh Khan and Jackie Shroff have stood by me and my family, Namashi added.
Namashi further added that his brother Mimoh has all the potential to be a superstar, if only the movie industry gave him as many chances as Abhishek Bachchan.
“He was born to a superstar. He has the potential to be a superstar but the industry is too busy favouring other star kids. If my brother, I can say this on the record, had got as many chances as Abhishek Bachchan, my brother would have been a superstar today,” Namashi said.
