In the pictures, RK and Ganguly are seen playing cricket together. While Ranbir is seen wearing an all-black look with 'Ranbir's Makkaar XI' written on his t-shirt, Ganguly is seen wearing a white t-shirt. Also, Ranbir’s t-shirt has 'RK' and the number 8 written on the back and Ganguly’s t-shirt has 'Dada's Jhoothi XI' written on it and the number 99 printed on the back.

Well, the pictures of the duo have sparked excitement among all. While there is no confirmation regarding Ranbir being finalised for Ganguly’s biopic, the curtains might be raised soon.

Earlier during an interview with News 18, the cricketer was quoted as saying, "I will be in Mumbai for several works. There are discussions regarding the script of the biopic. I am writing the script myself."

Further, he also added, “The screenplay will be discussed with Luv Production House. For several months, the work of making the biopic did not progress much. In fact, due to my and the production house’s tight schedule, the work was not picking up pace. This time, it will be done quickly."

Well, if everything falls into place, the official announcement may be made soon.
