Prabhas donates Rs 2 crore for construction of old age home: Reports

The ‘Darling’ of the film industry, Rebel star Prabhas needs no introduction. With blockbuster movies like Baahubali, Salaar, Mirchi, Chatrapathi and Varsham, the handsome hunk has established himself as one of the most bankable stars of the film industry.

Thanks to the stupendous success of Baahubali and Salaar, he is one of the few South Indian stars who has a huge fan following across the globe. While he portrays larger-than-life, angry man characters on screen, he is known to be the most humble person in real life.

His down-to-earth, shy nature and zero attitude makes him a even bigger star in real life. He is not seen in parties or doing unnecessary publicity stunts and is known for smiling and making others laugh. Stories of him feeding his co-stars and crew members with delicious foods have surfaced online.

However, latest report suggests Prabhas has donated a whopping Rs 2 crore for the construction of an old age home. This was shared by Telugu actor Sivaji Raja. 

In a recent interview, Sivaji Raja disclosed that when they approached Prabhas for help in the construction of an old age home, and he immediately donated Rs 2 crore.

This information was shared directly by Sivaji, months after the donation, and not by Prabhas’ team or close associates. Such instances have occurred multiple times, where large donations made by Prabhas take months or even years to be revealed by someone else. This shows how some actors quietly contribute without seeking attention, unlike a few others who donate and extensively publicize their small charitable efforts for publicly.

Prabhas is indeed a man with a golden heart.
