Fans of the beloved series Panchayat are eagerly awaiting its third season, set to premiere on May 28th. Led by the talented Jitendra Kumar, the show has captured hearts across both urban and rural landscapes, resonating with audiences worldwide for its relatable storyline and stellar execution.

After nearly two years since its last season, the upcoming installment has been fervently promoted by the platform, generating significant buzz among viewers. One thing that fans are intrigued to know if Abhishek Tripathi will really be leaving Phulera following his transfer.

Reportedly, Abhishek, the Sachiv of Phulera, will be transferred on the orders of local MLA Chandra Kishore, played by Pankaj Jha. The new poster of the show also seemed to imply this, as it depicts people divided into two groups attacking each other with sticks. In the new poster, Pradhan Ji is seen with his entire family on one side while the other side is led by MLA Chandra Kishore, with Abhishek missing from the poster.

Another plot that fans are eager to know about is whether Abhishek and Rinki will confess their feelings to each other and get married this season. Rinki and Abhishek share an unsaid bond of love; however, both of them are yet to confess.

Notably, Panchayat’s director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, revealed in an interview with Indian Express that in season 3, there will be a romantic track between Abhishek and Rinki, and they will probably get married, which we will slowly see happening in Panchayat 3.

“As I said, everything will take its own time. Just like the nature of the village, everything will happen at a slow pace. Dheere dheere sab hoga (It will all happen slowly),” he was quoted as saying.

Panchayat 3 has an ensemble cast featuring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, the light-hearted series follows the adventures of an engineering graduate who unwillingly takes on the role of panchayat secretary in the fictional small town of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.

Panchayat Season 3 will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 28.
