The music industry lost many artists this year, we all grew up listening to them. They left us unexpectedly and for their heavenly adobe after spending their lives composing music for us and leaving empty spaces in our hearts. This year is very crucial for the music industry. Here is the list of legendary singers.

Lata Mangeshkar

India's most loved singer Lata Mangeshkar, who once moved Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru into tears passed away at the age of 92 on the 6th of February, leaving the entire nation in tears. Pneumonia and Covid, related complications led her to be admitted to the hospital. She passed away after suffering from organ failure. 

Bappi Lahari

Music composer Bappi Lahari passed away at the age of 69 on 15th February.  After battling with multiple mental health issues, the singer who made disco music popular in the 80s and 90s left us in Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital. His popular songs are Bambai se aaya mera dost, Yaar bina chain kahan re and Yaad aa rahi hai and many more. 

Sidhu Moose Wala

His fans still can not believe that he is no longer with us. In a crowded marketplace in Punjab, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot 30 times on May 29. He was just 28 years old, a Canada-based gangster took the charge of his death. The investigation is still going on and fans are praying for justice.

KK

Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, whose melodious and beautiful songs made our childhood awesome. He had a heart condition that was very serious because of a lack of oxygen, as per the postmortem report. He was 53 years old when he left us on 31st May. Some of the popular songs Aankhon Mein Teri, Kya Mujhe Pyar Hai, Haan Tu Hai and more are still humming. 

Bhupinder Singh

The ghazal singer Bhupinder Singh whose melodious voice rendered some memorable songs like Naam Gum Jayega, Dil Dhoondta Hai, and Hothon Pe Aisi Baat left us at the age of 82. He was suffering from severe health-related complications and died due to a heart attack.
