4 years of KGF Chapter 1: Yash starrer set new bars for Indian cine industry

KGF Chapter 1 starring Rocking Star Yash and Srinidhi Shetty, released on December 21, 2018, proved to be a game changer for Kannada Film Industry (KFI) as well as Indian Cine Industry. KGF 1, packed with high-octane actions set new bars and records. And the rest is history. 

Box office collection

Made at a budget of Rs 80 crore, the Kannada-origin movie registered a lifetime box office collection of Rs 250 crore. 

KFI and Yash got recognised globally

The idea of bringing KGF as a pan-India movie was of Yash. With the support of Hombale Films, producer and director Prashanth Neel, Yash stepped ahead to fulfill his dreams. Though initially there were hurdles, it emerged as one of the most successful movies.

On the other hand, anticipation for KGF Chapter 3 is quite high among movie buffs. While there are no official announcements regarding the movie, several reports and buzz related to it have been surfacing at frequent intervals. It is expected that the makers will be making an official announcement soon.
