Chennai Super Kings star batter Ruturaj Gaikwad has become the nation’s new heartthrob after hitting 7 sixes in an over. The ruthless batter is literally breathing fire with the most number of hundreds in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The right-handed batter from Maharashtra had scored four centuries in five matches last year and this year too he has matched his tally by smashing the fourth century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He has left everyone in awe with his batting skills and consistency. Last year, he had scored 603 runs in five matches while he scored 660 from five games this year.

While the star batsman is doing well on the work front, his personal life has also become under the scanner. If reports are to be believed, the young batsman is reportedly growing close to popular Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev.

However, the actress finally opened up and has laid all the rumours to rest. The actress stated that such things have affected her friendship with the 25-year-old batsman.

“There is nothing. Our friendship has been spoilt because of these rumours. We cannot even talk to each other as friends. Kuch tha hi nahi. Mujhe pata bhi nahi kyun joda jaaraha hai humko,” said the actress.

The rumours started after Gaikwad commented on an Instagram post of the actress. However, the actress has clarified that these rumours have only affected their bond with each other.

“Gossipmongers don’t understand that because of rumours a few issues are created in our personal life as well. It affects us. He is a nice player. Initially, we avoided it, saying, ‘Chod na rumours hai’. We always thought jab sacchaai bahar aa jayegi tab sabko pata chal hi jayega. Probably when we get married to our respective partners, people would know. But if dedh saal ke baad bhi there are these rumours, then it starts bothering.”

“Because of this ghar pe stress create ho jaata hain. Today, I cannot even comment or congratulate him on his work. Even he cannot say anything about my work, which is very sad,” the actress added.
