Godzilla x Kong: The new empire trailer out; fans eager to witness clash of colossals

The trailer of Godzilla x Kong: The new empire was released today raising excitement among monsterVerse fans. 

The trailer arrived two years after the release of Godzilla vs. King Kong in the year 2021.  The new empire marks the fifth instalment of monsterVerse. 

As per the trailer, the movie will feature the undiscovered world of the giants, which glimpse was shown in the previous part. The fans will venture into the hidden mysteries of the colossal world and witness a new threat that is expected to be deadlier than any other colossal being featured so far. 

The official YouTube handle of Warner Bros Picture released the trailer. The power-pack trailer has amassed 6.9 million views in 16 hours after its release. Besides, it is trending at number seven on YouTube. 

The trailer started with horrifying music, footage of Pyramid and portraying disturbance in the seismometer. Excitement kicked in, when a portal appeared from the ground and a colossal entered into the human world.    

The trailer proceeded with aesthetic views of the giant world and then gave a glimpse of the giant antagonist. 

Fans were surprised to see the Godzilla with pink coloration, shunning the usual blue colour. 
Due to the new coloration of Godzilla, fans are predicting the giant has gone through an evolution.

A new member was also mentioned in the trailer, which is a ‘baby Kong’ that left the fans wondering what will be the role of the creature in the battle of the giants.

The conclusion of the trailer depicted an unusual view, where Kong was seen chasing the unbeaten Godzilla, as the latter was running from its enemy, a view fans found hard to digest.

The monsterVerse fans have expressed their excitement and eagerness to experience the clash in theatres. 

The movie is set to hit the theatres in 2024 and the exact release date is yet to be confirmed.
