After Humsafar, Pakistan stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan are set to create magic together once again.

The duo, well-known for their successful films and TV shows, will star in Netflix's first Pakistani Original series, an adaptation of the 2013 Urdu novel "Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo," according to a Variety report.

The show will be scripted by Farhat Ishtiaq, the author behind the beloved novel "Humsafar," which inspired a popular TV series.

As per the Variety report, the series revolves around Sikander, a law student at Harvard, whose life takes a pivotal turn after witnessing an incident. His path crosses with Liza, a talented artist with a troubled past, in Italy. The narrative unfolds to follow their journey. Accompanying Fawad and Mahira are other notable actors including Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir and Hamza Ali Abbasi in supporting roles.

Notably, the talented duo of Fawad and Mahira also recently appeared in the action film "The Legend of Maula Jatt," an adaptation of a Pakistani classic that garnered success. 

On the work front, Fawad's upcoming projects include the drama film "Neelofar," where he shares the screen with Mahira, and the film "Aan." 

This anticipated reunion of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in the upcoming Netflix series is undoubtedly exciting news for their fans who have been eagerly waiting to see the pair on screen once again.
