The golden girl and veteran actress Divya Bharti was only 19 years old when she left us. She was at the top of her career with several blockbuster movies in her kitty. She was one of the most sought-after actresses with back to back hit movies.

Unfortunately, she was reported to have fallen to death from the balcony of her fifth-floor apartment in Mumbai. While there have been several reports of conspiracy in her death, Rang actor Kamal Sadanah who has worked with Divya Bharti has finally opened up on her tragic death.

During an interview, Kamal said he believed that it was an accident and mentioned that he was working with her just three days before.

“It was very tough (Divya’s death news). It was really sad. She was one of the most talented actresses and great fun to work with. She would imitate Sridevi and was so much fun. It was such shocking news and I had just finished shooting with her,” Kamal said while speaking to Bollywood Hungama.

“My belief was she had a couple of drinks and was just farting around. I think she was in that energy and she slipped. I truly believe it was just an accident. I mean I was just shooting with her till a few days before and she was fine. There were no problems with her. She had great films which she had completed. She had her whole lineup of films she was being signed for,” he added.

Kamal also recalled how his father shot his mother and his sister to death before killing himself.

“It is traumatic. To see your family being killed in front of your eyes. I was also shot. I had a bullet go from one side of my neck and come out from the other side. I have survived that. I had to take my mother and sister to the hospital while they were bleeding. Shockingly, it all happened on my birthday,” revealed Kamal.

During the interview, Kamal confirmed that his father was under the influence of alcohol.
