Billions of Indians are praying and have their fingers crossed as India’s third Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, is set to land on the lunar surface today evening. If all goes well, Vikram, the Chandrayaan-3 lander, will touchdown at around 6 PM today.

As India is all set to create history, an X user compared India’s Chandrayaan-3 budget with the budget of Hollywood movie Interstellar and has started a debate online. Even, world’s richest man Elon Musk reacted to the tweet and heaped praises on India.

Musk reacted to the post comparing the budget and his response has prompted people to share varied comments. Former journalist Cindy Pom shared the tweet that read, “Kinda crazy when you realize India’s budget for Chandrayaan-3 is $75M is less than the film Interstellar $165M.”

“Good for India,” wrote Elon reacting to the post. The Tesla CEO also added an emoji showing India’s National Flag.

Now, Musk’s comment has created quite a storm on social media and the numbers of likes and comments are only increasing every passing second. Indians are more than happy and are taking to the comments section to thank the Tesla CEO.

“Finally, people are considering India’s worth,” commented a user. Another user wrote, “Thank you for the kind words Elon, watch it we might win the race to Mars.”
