Sushant’s death caused troubles for Ankita
Sushant and Ankita were in a relationship for almost 6 years and went separate ways in 2016. So when Sush was found hanging in his apartment, Ankita had already moved on and so had Sushant Singh Rajput. However, when his death was announced many people accused Ankita of leaving the Kedarnath actor alone when he needed her the most. Ankita on her part tried to cooperate with Sushant’s parents and told them whatever she knew.

Ankita’s tryst with casting couch
She once revealed that very early in her career she faced casting couch pressure and was asked by a producer to compromise if she wanted to get a role in a movie. After her revelations, many other actresses came forward stating similar experiences and their personal stories. Despite repeated pressure, Ankita did not reveal the name of the producer.
Social media posts in bikini triggered controversy
Ankita had a decent image among the audience as Archana of Pavitra Rishta. So when she shared her pictures in a bikini on her social media page, conservative fans were enraged. What’s more, she was also called out as insensitive when she shared a video clip of herself dancing merrily sometime around the time Sushant Singh had died. A few Sush fans lashed out at her very badly.

Ankita and Vicky Jain dated for a few years and married a couple of years ago in a high-profile ceremony.
